Hire Procedures

To ensure we can provide the best service for your party please follow these simple steps below:

  1. Select your favourite castle
  2. Ensure you have the room to fit your castle, see each castle for their dimensions needed;
  3. Supervision will be a person over 18 years of age;
  4. Make yourself familiar with the following;
    • Is the ground level, or almost level?
    • Are there stairs or a steep hill to access your preferred location? - These castles are heavy.
    • Will the castle be on a grassed area, concrete driveway, paved area or pebbles ?
    • Overhanging tree branches and power lines - 5m clearance required for large castles.
    • What entrances are available? Do you have 1m minimum clearance in gates or doors?
    • Is there power within 20m of the site?
    • Is your event at a park - ensure you have local council permission.
    • Please familiarise yourself with our safety precautions and procedures (see Safety tab) to ensure that they can be adhered to
    • Our inflatables are suitable for children up to 12 yrs of age
      • Castle sizes 3.5m x 5m - Suitable for children 3 to 8 years of age with a maximum of 8 children at a time.
      • Castle sizes 5m x 5m, and 6m x 6m - suitable for children 3 to 12 years of age with a maximum of 10 children at a time.

  • Most castles come with sun shade cloth covering.
  • Each castle comes with a ground tarp for protection
  • All castles come with safety mats at the entrance, and can double up to keep your kids socks clean and dry.
  • When making the booking you must advise us of difficult access like steep driveways, steps or stairs, tight side access (we need a 1 meter minimum space along side of house with no airconditioners, rubbish bins or obstructions).  If the castle needs to go through the front door please advise the exact width of the door, normally these are 820mm. 
  • Supervision is available on request - $35 per hour
  • The last pick up time for a day time booking is 6pm.
  • 7hr bookings for a day time book must finish at 6pm.  (Though 6pm is the earliest we will get there, it does depend on our logistics of run sheets) 
  • Overnight hire is available for $25 extra (Overnight hires start from approx 6pm to overnight - There maybe some flexibility on this, call our office for your request).
  • Bookings can be made over the phone or via the enquiry contact form on the web site.
  • A 50% deposit is required via credit card on booking, and the balance due 5 days prior the the event.
  • Generators are available for hire if required   -  4 hour hire $65.00 and 7 hour hire $85.00.
  • Larger Generator hires are available if required for 4 hours hire $85, and 7 hour hire $105.
  • All park bookings the customer must call the local council in there area and book the park, and advise of a castle being used for their party.
  • After your booking we will send out a confirmation email advising all your booking details, and then we'll call you on the WEDNESDAY prior to your party weekend to advise of your castle drop off and pick up times.

 

  • Cancellations MUST be made via EMAIL and a follow up phone call. Our email is:  info@brisbanejumpingcastles.com.au  
  • (Weather Guarantee **)  If it is heavily raining or dangerous weather ie hail or extreme high winds on the dayno cancellation fee will apply.  
    (We do hire castles in light and moderate rain with over 2500 successful parties to prove it).    
  • No cancellation fee        If cancelled before 8am the Tuesday prior to your party date.
  • 50% cancellation fee      If Cancelled after 8am TUE (prior to your event), up until 1pm the day before your event.
  • 75% cancellation fee      If cancelled after 1pm the day before your event until 7am the day of your party.
  • 100% cancellation fee    If cancellation after 7am the day of your event.
  • Our castles are safe to use in wet weather however they may become a waterslide - just remember children will exit the slide faster than normal and strict parent supervision is required

 

  • Rescheduling your Party Dates:
  • No Rescheduling fee if rescheduled before 4pm the Tuesday prior to your party date.
  • $50 Rescheduling fee if after 4pm Tue (prior to your event), up until 1pm Fri prior to your event.  The rescheduled will occur only if you have paid 50% of your castle hire fee (if not paid already).  If 50% has not been paid then valid Credit Card will be required and processed immediately + $50 reschedule fee.  Only “ONE” reschedule is allowed.  If the reschedule is cancelled again the remaining fee that is required to pay the castle in full is due immediately.
  • $50 Rescheduling fee if after 1pm the Fri before your event up until 5pm on the Fri. The rescheduled will occur only if you have paid 75% of your castle hire fee if not paid already. If 75% has not been paid then valid Credit Card will be required and processed immediately + $50 reschedule fee.  Only “ONE” reschedule is allowed.  .  If the reschedule is cancelled again the remaining fee that is required to pay the castle in full is due immediately.
  •  There is no Rescheduled after 5pm Fri before your party date.  The Cancellation fee will only apply.
